Through preaching, teaching, and study our adults strive to grow in the knowledge of scripture and apply it to their lives. There are several opportunites for adults to grow, learn and connect to God's Word depending upon their schedule, style or preferences.
The center piece of learning for adults is our adult Sunday School or, as we call it, SPIRITUAL FORMATION CLASS - 10:45am - 11:45am.
After each Sunday worship service and a 15 minute 'coffee connection', our Spiritual Formation hour provides opportunities for the adults to grow in their knowledge of the Bible, their connection to one another, and their relationship with Jesus Christ. It is challenging, practical and often led by an expert outside facilitator or speaker.
During the cureent Lenten Season, we will spend our Spiritual Formation hour discussing the Sunday sermons, sharing what it means to us and how we can personally apply the sermon message to our lives.
WOMEN’S MINISTRIES focus on connecting women through Christian fellowship, providing opportunities to grow in their personal relationship with Christ, and encouraging their unique gifts to impact the world for Christ.
The Womens' Retreat is held in the fall at our Covenant Harbor camping facility along the shore of Lake Geneva, WI. Guest speakers, bible study, small group discussions and walks along the shoreline fill this 3 day event of getting to know other women at Faith.
Our 'small group' movement is strong and focuses on a bible study, book or video series as decided by each group. The small groups of 8 -12 members gather for a mix of learning God's Word, getting to know and support each other at a deeper level, praying and sharing in a relaxed setting in a group member's home.
You might wonder... Who can belong to a small group? Anyone... younger, older, married or single; small groups at Faith offer people of any age and description the opportunity to know Jesus better and to connect with others.
About 70% of adults at Faith are in a small group – from the 20-something’s to the 80-something’s. At least three groups involve younger children. Small group life focuses on sharing, biblically-based study (with lively discussion), prayer for one another, and …. FOOD.
Whoever you are, there is room for you in a small group at Faith - where 'everyone knows your name'. For more information on our small groups, please contact Pastor Rick Allnutt
