Immerse
A new Bible Reading Plan

What is Immerse?
It is a new way to read the Bible based on its natural literary form: stories look like stories, songs look like songs, and poetry looks like poetry. Rather than traditional chapters and verses, each book is formatted based on the natural literary structures the authors incorporated when the books were first composed.

We will begin with the Messiah volume using a sixteen-week (Monday-Friday) reading plan. This volume is structured based on the dates of writing and not our traditional English Bible arrangements.

3 formats to engage with the Bible:

  1. Hard copy in English and Spanish (about 5-8 pages per day, which is about 10- 20 minutes of reading time).
  2. E-book: through retailers like Amazon Kindle, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, Google Play, and Appel.
  3. Audio: on the Immerse website, Spotify, or Apple Podcast.

A family guide is also available for home use. Parents, grandparents, or guardians can read it to or with the children.

4 Questions to get your conversations started:

  1. What stood out to you this week?
  2. Was there anything confusing or troubling?
  3. Did anything make you think differently about God?
  4. How might this change the way we live?
